[27 Aug 2009|09:06pm] I know HEADLINER has been around once before and it had a pretty good run compared to other communities that come and go, so, I was wondering if I should bring it back. Now, before I go any further, I just want to make a note that the original mod handed me this journal after I asked them a couple of days ago... BUT that does not mean that I have not invested interest in this community prior. I was their one and only co-mod who helped them out with some things that they couldn't do because school got in the way, so I do know how to run a community, especially this one, and have also ran another successful community a few years back. This community would be like it always was, if you can remember, a first come first serve celebrity community. I will not mention what I think it should and should not entail, because I think we all know what we do not want from a community and how we do not want a moderator to act. But there is one thing that I will say, I believe that a moderator is here to help run a game smoothly and instill trust within the potential and current members and I will try my best to provide that. I just want to see the general interest in opening up this community before I go ahead and shell out some cash for a paid account on this journal. The reason I would buy a paid account (and why this journal was a paid account in the past) would be so we can run polls through this journal and really have the members give their input on what they want to have and see done in this community. I feel like HEADLINER really did that in the past, let the members run the community while the moderator kept everything neutral and made sure everything was handled in a smooth manner and that's what I really enjoyed about that because I feel that's what a moderator should do. So, comment here if you're interested, or if you're not, either way I will take it all into consideration. If I get enough interest I'll consider opening it tomorrow sometime. Adds would be daily, again it's a first come first serve celebrity community and I want to make it a welcoming place so that people won't be afraid to try new things and really get into the spirit of role-play. Comments will be screened for your privacy if you want to say something negative and don't want people to see. If it's just an okay open it!! I'll un-screen it unless you ask otherwise!
